The Nutshell Diary

This is my life in a nutshell. I live and breathe art, specifically, digital photography, digital animation, illustration, videography, visual effects and graphic design. Most of my artwork is a reflection of my mood, personality and my personal perception of living life from my wheelchair.

About Me

My Photo
Robert Denton
Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada
I am a person who views the world in general, as quite absurd. It seems to me that the existence of this planet and the people on it is one of futility. I have a form of muscular dystrophy which has taken away my ability to walk. In addition, this cruel disease has affected my ability to talk and use my hands. Im not deterred however, from continuing to pursue my art and love for drawing. I have returned to school to learn about motion graphics, visual effects and digital animation.

First drawings of 2010

I'm working quite a bit in Illustrator and Photoshop combined, lately. Being able to work the same image in both programs, using Adobe Bridge, makes for an interesting and progressive workflow.
